After Mira Murati (CTO)’s departure, OpenAI chief research officer Bob McGrew and vice president of research Barret Zoph all announcing their departures recently, only three of the original 11 co-founders at OpenAI now remain; CEO Sam Altman, president Greg Brockman, and Wojciech Zaremba, research and language team leader.
It’s looking pretty dire talent-wise at OpenAI.

And what about the recent move of OpenAI towards converting into a B-Corp instead of a nonprofit, which will skyrocket their worth to $150B?
It’s wild β it means that the 100x profit cap for investors will be removed, turning a 100x into 1000x. Sam Altman in particular stands to benefit quite a bit from this move.
